C.R. Narayanan has held leadership positions in global and Indian enterprises and steered many companies to success. During his three decades career, he has been instrumental in implementation and administration of business applications, IT strategies and IT infrastructure involving hardware, software, communication devices, and connectivity and Data Center operations.
Some of the leading roles he has held in the past include as Program Director for an e-Governance project at NIIT Technologies; Senior Vice President at DSC Limited; Group CIO at Spanco Systems, Director IT at Alstom India and Head of IT for ABB Power Division.
He has received several honors from media companies for his many contributions to the IT industry. Among his other achievements, he has been a Jury member of a renowned committee that recognizes upcoming CIOs for several years.

Sunil is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Sopra Group’s India Delivery Centre in Noida. Sopra Group is one of the top three European IT services companies in France. As COO, he’s responsible for growing and managing the company’s operations in India.
Sunil has more than 25 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. Prior to joining Sopra, he had dabbled in entrepreneurship as co-founder of Momentum Technologies in 1993. Before setting up Momentum, Sunil worked with Wipro and the UB Group. Momentum later became part of the Sopra Group in 2005 as part of an acquisition deal.
Sunil holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering from IIT, Roorkee. He is closely involved in various NASSCOM initiatives.
